Ground Surface Cleaning
This service is as it sounds. It's the cleaning of any type of surface that's located on the ground. Concrete, asphalt, tiles, exposed aggregate, etc.

The Process
How we go about cleaning ground surfaces can differ depending upon the surface type. Typically, we'll use a surface cleaner.

A surface cleaner is a large circular attachment with two pressure cleaning nozzles on the underside. They're attached to a bar that rotates at high speed.

It allows us to be able to clean larger surfaces more evenly and efficiently. We can change the nozzles on the surface cleaner to increase or reduce the amount of pressure that is output, to cater for different surface materials. Softer and more delicate surfaces need to be cleaned with lower pressure equipment to avoid causing damage.

We can choose to pre-treat or post-treat the surfaces with chemicals to aid in the cleaning process and improve the final result. This isn't always required, but it can really help with loosening up stubborn dirt, bleaching and killing mould, and removing stains.

When the cleaning and treatments have been completed, we rinse down the surfaces to wash away the loose material. This can be as simple as a quick hose down but sometimes this takes a surprising amount of time. Exposed aggregate and asphalt surfaces take a longer time to rinse due to all of the small pockets in the stippled surface where dirt gets trapped.

When rinsing down, we're mindful of any water sources or other environmental considerations and we direct the run-off to an appropriate area to avoid contamination.
Sometimes It's difficult to even realise that your surfaces are becoming dirty, you just start get the sense that the property looks dull.

It's only when somebody points out a particular area, that you fully pay attention to the grime that's silently crept up. When you see the true colour hiding beneath that unwanted organic matter, you'll remember exactly how vibrant your home once looked!
