We'll typically secure our ladders in place using an attachment product called a "Lockjaw", but that's not the only option. You could use ladder stand-offs, stabilisers and protective padding where appropriate. If we're needing our ladders to come into contact with a painted or scratchable surface, we'll create a protection buffer with microfibre cloths. Reducing ladder use altogether through the use of extension equipment and specialised access systems can be both the safest and most effective way to plan a job.
