BP Night Owl Project
We were engaged in partnership with Grasswork Lawn Care to deliver the high pressure cleaning and surface contamination removal at Night Owl in Douglas. These maintenance works are critical to keep businesses operating in a safe and clean environment.

The objective was to create a cleaner, safer environment whilst minimising slip hazards and maximising the appeal of the facility.
Scope of Works
The Pressure Washing Company recently completed a comprehensive fuel station forecourt cleaning project at the NightOwl service station in Douglas, restoring heavily trafficked concrete surfaces affected by oil staining, fuel residue, tyre marks, and general grime accumulation.

As with many active service station environments, the site remained operational throughout the project, requiring careful planning to ensure customer access, vehicle movements, and day-to-day business operations could continue safely while works were being undertaken. Our team coordinated the cleaning process to minimise disruption and maintain a safe environment for customers and staff at all times.​​
The scope of works involved the pressure cleaning of the fuel dispensing forecourt, vehicle circulation areas, pedestrian access paths, kerb lines, and surrounding concrete hardstand surfaces. Using our commercial grade pressure washing equipment and specialised cleaning treatments, we targeted built up contaminants commonly found at fuel stations, including oil deposits, fuel staining, tyre residue, dirt build up, and organic growth.

Particular attention was given to high traffic areas around fuel bowsers and vehicle queuing zones, where years of accumulated contamination had significantly impacted the appearance of the concrete surfaces. Through a combination of high pressure surface cleaning and chemical stain treatment, we were able to achieve a substantial improvement in the overall presentation of the site.

The project highlights the importance of regular fuel station pressure cleaning in maintaining a clean, professional appearance while helping to reduce slip hazards and prolong the lifespan of external hardstand surfaces.

Our main focus during the delivery of this job was the safety of our staff and members of the public. We over-staffed the job in order to have a spotter available at all times, utilised traffic and pedestrian management, and cordoned off exclusion zones which were moved in sections.

For fuel retailers, site presentation plays a critical role in customer perception, and routine forecourt cleaning remains one of the most effective ways to enhance the overall appearance of a service station.

The completed result at NightOwl Douglas delivered a noticeably cleaner, brighter, and more professional forecourt, helping the site maintain its presentation standards while creating a safer and more welcoming environment for customers.
